After being a steadfast member of the Columbia World Affairs Council, Sabrina Mandanas is now the Executive Director for the nonprofit organization. Graduating from the City University of New York with a Bachelors Degree in Communications Arts and Sciences, she worked for CBS Television Network in New York City after her internships with The Guiding Light and As The World Turns. In search of adventure, Sabrina later became a Flight Attendant for PEOPLEXPRESS Airlines and traveling became her introduction to what would become her defining subscription to a life with little monotony and plenty of world-weariness.
Diversity became the driving energy in Sabrina’s professional selection in the years to follow; as she explored the world of Medicine, Sabrina attended Midlands Technical College to pursue an Associates Degree in the Science of Nursing. The Caritas Nursing Scholarship, which she received two years in a row from the Sisters of Charity, Providence Hospital enabled her to attend Nursing School while still working full-time at the Providence Women’s Heart Center. Additionally, if you thought her range had finally narrowed, before becoming the newest staff member of the Columbia World Affairs Council, she was employed by Sherer & Associates, Architects, as the Public Relations and Marketing Specialist. |
